This is a photo of paper straws being provided in the cafeteria at the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. It is a law and is being implemented. Why are we still seeing plastic straws all over New York? Shame on us! We know plastics hurt wild life, turn our ocean into a landfill and eventually end up in our food. We, consumers, are also responsible for reinforcing its implementation. Every little effort counts!
